Grammar Formula is designed to help you understand the complex English Grammar in the simplest form using memorization of the verb tense formula.

Understanding Verb & Tense

A verb is commonly defined as any word that shows action or a state of being (such as hear, become, happen).

These 3 Verb Forms are used in these grammar formulas:

Verb¹  is the Original base form of the verb (clean, shop, begin)

Verb² is the past simple form of the verb (cleaned, shopped, began)

Verb³ is the past participle form of the verb (cleaned, shopped, begun)

Verb tenses express when an event occurs (past, present, or future) — affecting which verb form should be used.
